SSDD (Same Shit Different Day) #2

My windows XP professional runs fine. My friend told me that I should run AutoPatcher, to get more stability on my box. First I don't believe him. After I read the readme file, hey, there's nothing to loose. If I don't statisfied, I just unistalled right? So here we come.. I click the setup.exe. Install everything that needed to patch. the [Finish] button is ready to serve. With a checkbox
"[ ] Restart later" without a mark. I clicked. My PC is restarted.

[bla-bla boot messages]

*bang* I got Blue Screen Of Death.
it says: Logon failed.

I try to restart again.
But now my finger is ready to press [F8], switching to SafeMode.
after I press [F8], there's a menu there.
Hm.. Interesting menu. I choose Back to Last Good Known... bla bla bla..

*bang again* I got Blue Screen Of Death.
it says: Logon failed.

Hm.. I should choose SafeMode then..
Restart again.
Choose SafeMode.
tick..tick..tick.. [teet] the loudspeaker of my pc.
Oh my. It's autoreboot(tm) facility.

Well it's time to reinstall..
I've got my Windows XP Professional CD handy,
and A CDROM Drive.
I put the cd on the cdrom drive. next.. next.. next..
aha.. a recovery.
I choose Recover Windows Install.

*after 45 minutes*
a long installation procedure, but my winxp prof, is back!
without SP2 ofcourse.
